He was born on November 10, 1968 as Tracy Morgan in Bronx, New York, USA. He has always been a stand-up comedian. In the year 1984, he was discovered performing at Apollo and his life changed ever since. To many people, he is best known on the Saturday Night Live where he used to perform from 1996 through 2003. He also hosted the ‘Comic Groove’ on comedy central and later had his own show on NBC; ‘The Tracy Morgan Show’.

Other than being a stand-out cast member in the Saturday Night Live, he also contributed to the ‘Crank Yankers – a hilarious comedy central series. He plays the role of Spoonie Luv. He is currently starring in the ’30 Rock’, a TV series. He plays an almost crazy role of Tracy Jordan. The comedy is loosely based on the Saturday Night Live backstage hence the chance in Tracy’s last name.

On November 28, 2006, Tracy Morgan was arrested in New York on the suspicion of drunk driving. The sentence was to serve no time in jail and included a fine of a thousand dollars, a community service of five days as well as a D.U.I. Program to exchange his guilty plea. However, accepting the deal would mean guilt which would contradict his Los Angeles’ prior D.U.I conviction. This would send him behind bars for quite sometime.
